Torch Technologies Wins $163M WDI Technical and Engineering Support Services Task Order
Torch Technologies is pleased to announce it was awarded the $163M U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command, Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), Weapons Development and Integration Task Order for technical and engineering services under AMCOM Express. This task order will provide engineering services to support all aspects of WDI’s engineering and technology development areas. WDI is the premier organization responsible for missile technology development and program support in the areas of systems engineering and requirements analysis, sensors, signal processing, target acquisition, guidance, navigation, control, electronics, computers and weapon system development. WDI consistently brings value to the acquisition lifecycle of Army weapon systems by integrating emerging component technologies and developing next generation weapon systems applicable to all tiers of Army weaponry including close combat weapons, long range precision strike missiles, protection systems, and air-to-ground missiles.
