Torch Technologies is pleased to announce it has won the $109.8M U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command, Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), System Simulation and Development Directorate (SSDD) Advanced Simulation Center Analysis and Engineering Support Services Task Order under AMCOM Express. This task order will provide engineering services to support all aspects of SSDD’s Advanced Simulation Center (ASC). The SSDD ASC is a premier, one of a kind hardware in the loop facility the Army uses to perform missile pre-flight risk reduction testing and post flight reconstruction and analysis for THAAD, PATRIOT, IBCS and CRAM weapon systems, along with emerging advanced weapon systems. SSDD consistently brings value to the acquisition lifecycle of Army weapon systems by integrating tactical grade hardware into real time test environments, and evaluating operational performance of complex integrated systems.
Torch Technologies and our highly experienced team consider it an honor to be given this opportunity to continue our long and successful partnership with SSDD in the areas of systems integration and real time weapon system analysis through hardware in the loop technologies. Our team of 36 subcontractors bring a depth and diversity of experience that represent a spirit of excellence and we are extremely proud to be supporting such an important mission for the AMRDEC. “The SSDD hardware in the loop facility has historically been one of the crown jewels in the AMRDEC, performing a unique mission for the soldier,” Torch CEO Bill Roark said, “and Torch is privileged to be a team member of such a prestigious organization.”
