Torch Technologies, an employee-owned technology services and solutions company headquartered in Huntsville, Ala., recently won a SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) prime contract with the U.S. Navy for the Gulf Coast and National Capital Zones. The award value for this Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is $48,604,499,000. Seaport-e is a Multiple Award Contract (MAC) in use by the U.S. Navy to address ongoing engineering, technology, and program management requirements against 22 functional areas. Competitive task orders are issued by the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, Strategic Systems Programs, Office of Naval Research, and the United States Marine Corps.
“Torch has supported the Naval Air Systems Command for several years and expects to build upon this contract to expand that relationship,” Torch CEO Bill Roark said.
