Torch Technologies is pleased to announce it has been awarded the Development, Operations, Maintenance and Support (DOMS) Missile Element Simulation (MES) Contract in support of the Systems Simulation and Development Directorate (SSDD), Aviation and Missile, Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC).This is a $70,997,405 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for missile element simulations which will enhance and maintain the current suite of missile modeling simulation, hardware-in-the-loop and prototype development facilities. The contract has an estimated completion date in February of 2019.
This contract will leverage existing world-class SSDD capabilities and facilities which have provided positive contributions to virtually every Army missile system over the last 50 years. It will also explore and prototype future capabilities to ensure SSDD remains on the cutting-edge of advances in missile technologies. “Torch is honored to have been selected to support SSDD as they enter their next 50 years of excellence.” Torch CEO Bill Roark said.
