Torch Technologies Awarded $27 Million ‘Systems Simulation and Development Directorate Support’ Direct Award Task Order
On Aug. 21, 2008, Torch Technologies was awarded a five-year, $27,206,054 Task Order as a Direct Award through the Aviation & Missile Solutions, LLC (AMS) AMCOM EXPRESS BPA to support the U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command (RDECOM) Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) System Simulation and Development Directorate (SSDD).
SSDD’s world-class facilities, labs, tools, models, simulations and dedicated staff focus on providing relevant and responsive simulation support to all branches of the armed services, multiple program offices and others for development and improvements to their systems.
Torch Technologies considers it an honor to have this opportunity through the AMS BPA to continue our long and successful partnership with SSDD. Our team currently consists of 14 other subcontractors that actively support SSDD. The Torch team’s vast expertise and experience will continue to complement SSDD’s already proven capabilities and services.
“We are honored to be selected to support SSDD,” Torch President Don Holder said. Holder added that the award speaks volumes about the trust SSDD places in Torch and our team.
