Torch Technologies, Inc. Awarded Combined $443M 5yr Task Orders with the Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) System Simulation and Development Directorate (SSDD) via Aviation & Missile Solutions, LLC Proposals.

 

Huntsville, AL October 14, 2008:

 

From July until September 2008, Aviation & Missile Solutions, LLC (AMS) proposals under the AMCOM EXPRESS technical domain resulted in four (4) Task Order Direct Awards to Torch Technologies totaling $443M to support the U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command (RDECOM) Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) System Simulation and Development Directorate (SSDD).

 

These Task Awards include options for Five Years from date of award.

SSDD has assembled world class facilities, labs, tools, models, simulations, and most importantly dedicated staff focused on providing relevant and responsive technical services to Army project managers and other government agencies.

 

Torch Technologies is honored to be given this opportunity through the AMS BPA to continue our long and successful partnership with SSDD by providing various support positions and expertise throughout the Directorate. Our team currently consists of 23 other subcontractors that actively support the modeling and simulation efforts of SSDD through an ongoing task award to AMS. 

These Task Orders offer the Government the ability to reach our teammates using a single contract vehicle. The Torch Team brings broad-based technological expertise and exceptional experience in technologies and phenomenology relevant to AMRDEC's needs. AMS, a Dynetics company, is pleased to partner with Torch to bring the best available solution to our SSDD customers.
