Torch Technologies, Inc. is Awarded $188M "Strategic Systems Test and Analysis" Direct Award Task Order.

 

Huntsville, AL October 14, 2008:

 

On 24 September 2008, Torch Technologies was awarded a 5-Year $188,125,216 Task Order as a Direct Award through the Aviation & Missile Solutions, LLC (AMS) AMCOM EXPRESS BPA to support the U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command (RDECOM) Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) System Simulation and Development Directorate (SSDD).

Strategic Defense is a very rewarding endeavor.  While we all hope and pray that strategic missiles are never fired at our homeland or our Warfighters in theater, we believe it is the duty of this generation to ensure that America can engage and defeat these threats. AMRDEC's ability to support strategic systems test and analysis of MDA, Army, Navy, and Air Force systems is state-of-the-art. AMRDEC has world class facilities, labs, tools, models, simulations, and dedicated staff focused on providing strategic systems modeling and simulation support. The Torch Technologies team is working daily to support this mission area and is honored to be given this opportunity through the AMS BPA to continue our long and successful partnership. Our team currently consists of 12 other subcontractors that actively support Government agencies in strategic systems-related work.
