Torch Selected as Finalist by Winning Workplaces

Torch Technologies has been selected as a finalist for this year’s Inc. magazine and Winning Workplaces Top Small Company Workplaces competition - the best small and mid-sized places to work in the country. This was officially announced with the publication of Inc.’s June issue (6/8/2010). Of 500 qualifying companies nationally, Torch was selected as one of the top 40 companies recognized. Being selected as a finalist places Torch in the top eight percentile of the 500 qualifying companies assessed and one of only two Alabama based companies recognized this year. In addition to listing all 2010 winners and finalists, this month’s Inc highlighted a number of best practices by small and medium companies including a section on Social Responsibility that featured Torch Helps, a 501c3 charitable organization funded and managed by Torch employees. “We are very pleased to be recognized by Winning Workplaces and Inc as a premier workplace”, stated Bill Roark, Torch CEO and Co-founder, “ and I’m particularly proud that Inc has recognized the giving spirit of our employees and the excellent charitable work that Torch Helps does to serve others in our community”.
