Torch full-time employees* are eligible to receive insurance benefits, paid absences, education assistance, and retirement planning. Medical/Hospital Benefits: Major Medical benefits provided under Our group plan are provided by Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Benefits include: hospitalization, physician care, major medical, well baby care, and a prescription drug program.
Dental Benefits: Torch employees may choose a Dental plan. The dental plan provides 100% coverage for certain preventative services, 80% coverage for basic services, and 50% coverage for major services. The plan also includes an orthodontia benefit.
Vision Plan: Our plan provides a comprehensive array of vision services including exams, glasses and contact lenses.
Flexible Spending Accounts: For certain health and dependent care expenses not reimbursed by insurance programs, employees may enroll in the flexible spending program, which allows expenses to be paid with pre-tax dollars rather than after-tax dollars. Participation is optional and employees decide whether or not, and how much, to contribute to their spending account. There are two accounts, one for health care and one for dependent care. All claims are governed by IRS regulations on eligibility and documentation required.
Life Insurance Plans: Employee Term Life coverage, Basic Accident Insurance, and Business Travel Accident can help alleviate the financial hardship in case of the loss of a wage earner. Torch provides one times your base annual salary, up to $150,000 in basic life insurance and one times your base salary up to $150,000 in Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance, as well as Business Travel Accident coverage at no cost to full time employees. Additional life insurance may be purchased at group rates and is available up to $500,000.
Income Protection: Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability (LTD) plans are integrated to maintain a stable income level in case an employee becomes disabled as a result of injury or illness. Torch provides both short-term and long-term disability insurance to all full time employees at no cost.
Paid Time Off (PTO) Leave: Full time Employees are eligible for PTO Leave, Our program providing time off for vacation, personal business, and occasional short-term illness. Accrual rates vary based upon years of service. Hours can be carried over annually.
Holidays: All full-time employees are eligible for paid holidays during the year.
Education Assistance: For eligible employees, Torch will reimburse a portion of tuition, as well as certain other education-related costs such as books.
Retirement Plans: Company-funded retirement plans are provided to employees. Employees need to satisfy certain service requirements to become participants. These noncontributory plans consist of 401(k), ESOP, and Profit Sharing accounts. Torch also has matching contributions to the 401(k) plan.
Performance Incentives: Torch offers various incentives for outstanding performance.
Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP): It is the goal of Torch Technologies that each employee becomes an employee owner. This is currently accomplished through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
Employee Stock Option Plan: Torch Technologies believes in rewarding employees that demonstrate excellence and outstanding service to our customers above and beyond the normal call of duty.
Interest - Free Computer Loans: For purchase of personal computers.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Employees and family members have an EAP available for confidential assistance with personal or work - related problems. Up to three visits with an EAP counselor can be arranged at no cost. The EAP offers professional counseling for problems such as emotional difficulties, stress, alcohol or drug abuse, family or marital problems, job related problems, etc. Other benefits are offered.
Identity Fraud Policy: Reimburses you for certain expenses you may incur as a result of Identity Theft. Some of the reimbursable expenses are: lost wages, notary and certified mail fees, and attorney fees (requires prior approval).
